Coco-Straight Up Batt

This batt is nothing but Coco. Coco is our rescue sheep. My husband saved her becoming lamb chops. She moved here and has slowly taken over as the boss babe! She is first to the gate for scratches and the first to the feeder for dinner. She is a merino Suffolk cross. Her fleece gets its bounciness from the Suffolk and the length from merino the best of both worlds. Her fleece is a medium wool at 30 microns durable but still soft. It makes for a nice grippy spin perfect for beginners.

This fleece was processed completely by hand here on our homestead.  Our sheep wear coats year round but they are still farm animals and you may find stay bits of hay in your fiber.
